Meet Our Coaches
At Springers Gymnastics, our coaches are the heart of everything we do.
Each member of our team is passionate about helping athletes grow — not only as gymnasts but as confident, capable individuals.
We believe in teaching with patience, encouragement, and positivity, creating an environment where every athlete feels safe, supported, and inspired to reach their potential.
Our Coaching Philosophy
All Springers coaches are trained through the Gymnastics Canada Coaching Foundations Program, which provides a strong foundation in:
-
The science of movement
-
Safe skill progressions
-
Fitness and flexibility development
-
Positive coaching and communication
Our entire coaching staff also hold valid First Aid/CPR C certifications and have completed the Respect in Sport online training module.
We maintain a low coach-to-athlete ratio to ensure personal attention and high-quality instruction for every gymnast.
Coach-in-Training Program
Springers proudly runs a Coach-in-Training Program to develop our next generation of leaders.
Junior coaches assist in recreational classes under supervision, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from certified staff. Many of our current coaches began their journey through this very program!
This initiative builds leadership, communication skills, and confidence — values that carry into every area of life.
💬 Have a Question for a Coach?
We value open communication with families.
If you ever have a question or concern, please feel free to speak with your child’s coach before or after class, or contact our Head Coach directly at:
“Great Coaches Build Great Athletes”
At Springers Gymnastics, our coaches are more than instructors — they’re mentors, motivators, and role models.
We’re proud to have a dedicated, certified, and compassionate coaching team helping every gymnast discover what they’re capable of.

Jessica Ronn — Head Coach
NCCP Level 2 Certified, Level 3 Technical | Level 2 Trampoline | Active Start Certified | First Aid/CPR C
Jessica Ronn has been involved in gymnastics for over 30 years as an athlete, coach, and judge. She brings a wealth of experience and energy to the Springers team and currently serves as both Head Coach and Judging Chair.
By day, Jess is a School Counsellor with the Good Spirit School Division; by night, she brings her passion for teaching and mentorship into the gym. She’s a lifelong learner who attends ongoing courses, workshops, and judging clinics, sharing her knowledge with both athletes and coaches.
Jess is also active at the provincial level — she serves on Gymnastics Saskatchewan’s Women’s Technical Committee and Women’s Judging Committee, and has led multiple judging clinics in Regina and Saskatoon. She has won several awards for her knowledge, dedication and commitment.
Her greatest joy is seeing gymnasts develop life skills such as perseverance, confidence, and pride through sport.
“Gymnastics has always been a part of my life — I love watching athletes grow both in their skills and in their confidence.”
Stephanie Wong-Erhardt — Recreational Director
NCCP Level 2 Certified | Gymnastics Saskatchewan & Gymnastics Canada Certified | First Aid/CPR C
Stephanie has been with Springers Gymnastics since 2008 and now leads our Recreational and Pre-Competitive Programs. She began gymnastics as a preschooler in Calgary and has carried that love for movement and learning into her coaching career.
Stephanie has attended countless recreational conferences and training seminars, continually expanding her knowledge to enhance our programs. She believes gymnastics teaches more than physical fitness — it builds character, resilience, and teamwork.
When she’s not in the gym, Stephanie enjoys life on the family farm with her husband and two daughters — both gymnasts themselves!
“Gymnastics teaches more than movement — it teaches courage, focus, and the confidence to try again.”
